Farmer David Retief has made wine for a few years under another label, but wanted to make a properly natural wine, so he partnered with legendary South African winemaker Craig Hawkins of Testalonga. After beginning to farm biodynamically he noticed the return of a local bird called the Drongo and the rest is history! This a delicate and finely balanced wine, plenty of fruit, a touch of tannin and some peppery notes to boot. We love this slightly chilled to maximise its potential for refreshment.
