The Zorjan family have been farming for generations. Their ancestors farmed traditionally, without the use of modern methods and thus preserved the immense richness, and vitality, of the soil.

The grapes are aged on their skins in large, terracotta amphora for six months, the wine is then transferred to wooden barrels for another year before bottling. This results is a truly mesmerising wine. Rich and hedonistic, whilst holding a wonderful undercurrent of vibrant acidity.

Zorjan ‘Dolium’ Muscat Ottonel 2017, Starjeska, Slovenia

The Zorjan family have been farming for generations. Their ancestors farmed traditionally, without the use of modern methods and thus preserved the immense richness, and vitality, of the soil.
