Le Paria, Maison Ventenac, 2021

Stephanie & Olivier Ramé, wife and husband, are the third generation of their family at Maison Ventenac.

This Grenache explodes with notes of raspberries, sour cherries, hints of orange and liquorice and spice – black pepper and curing spices. Despite being only 13% the Grenache has a great, full mouthfeel with cranberry and raspberry backed up with rounded spice notes, length and good mineral acidity. Smooth tannins.

Olivier’s philosophy is to allow their unique terroir to shine through in the wines, presenting them as naturally as possible and raising in terra cotta urns and concrete vats to enhance their purity.
